The Dosi plugin in DeepSeek Harness¶
DeepSeek Harness gets the skills and the hooks; the agent runs dosi through its CLI. For what the plugin does in every agent, see The Dosi plugin.
Install¶
In the web UI, open Plugins → Add plugin and enter
https://github.com/Datus-ai/dosi-plugins. DeepSeek Harness installs
plugins with pnpm, which must be on your PATH. Or from a shell:
Restart DeepSeek Harness to load it.
Check that it works¶
Open a session in a project folder and ask "which dosi version runs here?". The first session downloads dosi in the background, so give it about ten seconds. Then ask a data question.
Why there is no MCP server¶
DeepSeek Harness starts an MCP server once per process, in one fixed folder, while one process serves sessions in many projects. A dosi server serves one project's model, so it would answer every session from the same project. The plugin runs dosi's CLI instead, in each session's own folder; the answers are the same.
If you only ever use one project, you can still wire the server by hand with
DeepSeek Harness's dsh-mcp-client, its folder set to that project. See
Run the MCP server yourself.
Update and remove¶
Run the add command again to pick up a newer version, then restart.
dosi itself is upgraded separately: say "upgrade dosi".
